Great post, thank you for the words of wisdom. I tend to be a control freak so stepping back is easier said than done. Maybe with a few more miles under my belt…just maybe…
Checking in here before I head out to the garden– I enjoyed your comments about writing (and car racing–my fiance’s own childhood dream! Now he builds cars!). I am a newbie, just starting to get serious about writing.
I have a Romance Website which is where I spend much of my writing time. At some point, in the process of developing all those pages I decided to embark on my own novel (or whatever it turns into). I am racing along after my Muse who has been waiting, probably rather impatiently, for 54 years for me to get my act together and WRITE!)
Hmmm…I hope this is not a duplicate. I posted earlier but don’t see it. I liked what you said about writing. My muse has been waiting for me to get my act together and now we are off and running. She keeps well ahead of me but I’m pleased to see how my stamina improves the more I let her lead me on our merry chase! What fun!
I tell people my muse is Snotto (she is often left out of the tonier books) and she can be an absolute bitch! Can’t find an earlier post, but I am hopelessly bad at this stuff. Anyway, now you’re here, and welcome
Yes, good luck. And, you know this without my telling you, at some point, you’re just going to have to start writing. The scary part is that first page or so. But, here’s the thing, it always stays scary, it always stays hard, but the more you do it, the more you love it. Hmm – years ago, some man said almost the same thing to me, and he did not have writing in mind. Come to think of it, though, he was right, too.

Yes, this is the place – but I’m still trying to figure things out. Glad to know you’re enjoying the Deadly books. They are fun to write, too.

Glad you liked it – yes, it all gets easier with the extra miles…in my case, enough miles to reach the moon.
